Welcome to Sound Advice, a mental health and life coaching clinic providing both in-person and telehealth services throughout Florida and beyond. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services. By using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
Sound Advice offers professional counseling and coaching services, including but not limited to individual therapy, couples and family counseling, stress and anxiety management, trauma and grief support, and personalized life and career coaching. Services are provided by licensed clinicians and certified coaches.
Please note: We do not offer emergency services. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911. For immediate mental health support, contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals of all ages. Minors must obtain parental or guardian consent to participate in therapy or coaching.
3. Appointment Scheduling & Cancellation
Appointments can be scheduled through our online booking platform, by phone, or through email. We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a fee.
4. Client Accounts
You may create an account to access certain features, including booking and tracking appointments. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
5. Fees, Payments & Insurance
Therapy services may be covered by select insurance plans. Coaching services are not covered by insurance. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. We use secure third-party processors for all online transactions and disclaim liability for third-party errors.
6. Confidentiality & Privacy
All therapy sessions are confidential, in accordance with federal and Florida state laws. Information shared in coaching is also treated with respect and discretion, though it may not be covered by HIPAA. Exceptions to confidentiality apply in cases of suspected abuse, risk of harm to self or others, or as required by law.
7. Online and Telehealth Services
We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for telehealth services. By participating in online sessions, you agree to take reasonable precautions to protect your own privacy and safety during sessions.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including logos, service descriptions, images, and written materials, is the intellectual property of Sound Advice and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Sound Advice and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services or website.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and are effective immediately upon posting.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
