Privacy policy
How information is handled when you explore Sound Advice, get in touch or join our newsletter.
Information you choose to share
When you send an inquiry, we collect the contact details and message you enter, including your preferred contact method and inquiry type. These are sent to our Wix contact system so our team can respond. Please do not include diagnoses, medical records, or other private health information in this general website form.
Newsletter signup collects your email address and your affirmative consent to receive news and updates. It is separate from inquiries, scheduling and receiving care. We do not add you to the newsletter simply because you contact us. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter or by contacting us.
Self assessment
Our self assessment is a personal reflection tool, not a diagnosis or clinical screening. Your selections stay in the current page’s memory while you use it. The website does not send those answers to Sound Advice, save them in browser storage or include them in links to other pages. Leaving or reloading the page clears the reflection.
Website operation and external services
Wix hosts this website and processes form submissions. Website hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, request logs and security signals to deliver and protect their services. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam; it loads when you begin interacting with a form.
Scheduling links take you to Calendly. Information you enter there is handled through that service and used to arrange your appointment. Links to Instagram and YouTube open their separate services. These providers have their own privacy policies: Wix, Google and Calendly.
The website stores your chosen motion setting for the current browser tab. We do not add advertising pixels or Google Analytics to this version of the website. Fonts are hosted with the website. Third-party services may use their own cookies or similar technology when you interact with them.
How we use and share information
We use website inquiries to respond, answer service questions and help arrange a next step. We use newsletter information for the updates you request. Service providers process information needed to run the website and these functions. We do not sell your information. We may disclose information when required by law.
Clinical care and confidentiality
Information collected during clinical intake, treatment, insurance or payment is handled through the clinic’s separate care processes. This website policy does not replace the privacy notices and consent documents applicable to those services. Contact us for the notice that applies to your care and for questions about your records. Coaching and therapy have different confidentiality requirements.
Your choices and requests
Contact us to ask about information you have submitted, request corrections, ask about access or deletion where applicable, or withdraw newsletter consent. Some information may need to be retained for legal or service-related reasons. Please avoid sending sensitive health information by general email.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. The public inquiry and newsletter forms are intended for adults. A parent or guardian should contact us about services for a child. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through these forms.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy as website features or practices change. The revised date appears below. For privacy questions, contact:
