Ask our teamTherapy addresses emotional distress and mental health concerns that affect daily life. Coaching focuses on goals, decisions and accountability; it does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. You can discuss which fits during a 15 minute welcome meeting. Talk through your options
Your therapist will ask what brought you in, what has been happening and what you want to change. You’ll also talk about your background and ask questions about how therapy works. You do not need a polished explanation before you arrive.
There isn’t a fixed number of sessions. You and your therapist will choose goals, discuss how often to meet and revisit what’s helping as you go.
Therapy is confidential, with exceptions such as risk of harm or situations where disclosure is required by law. Your therapist can explain these limits and answer privacy questions before you begin. Read our privacy policy
Bring a decision you keep delaying, a career change you’re considering or a goal you haven’t followed through on. Our coaches work on the steps and accountability involved. A single decision and a change you’re trying to sustain may need different amounts of time. Bring the goal to your first conversation so you and your coach can agree on a pace.
